SmartPlug2

SmartPlug2 acts as a smart socket for your electric devices, allowing you to turn them on or off remotely from anywhere. It connects through built-in mobile network rather than Wi-Fi, so you can place it anywhere you have mobile coverage. You control the SmartPlug2 through the My.Luda.Farm app, where you manage all its settings and switch your electrical equipment on or off. You can also add multiple SmartPlugs and share access with co-workers or family members directly in the app.

Compared to its predecessor, the SmartPlug2 is IP44 rated making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, offering greater flexibility in where it can be installed. Another new feature is the upgraded LTE-M (4G/5G) connectivity which ensures faster and more future-proof communication.  

One of the standout features of the SmartPlug2 is how well it complements the FenceAlarm2 unit, enhancing its overall functionality. By connecting the SmartPlug2 to your energizer, you can remotely turn it off without having to travel back to the energizer. This is particularly useful for farmers who need to address issues with their fencing or other equipment, for example a broken wire. With SmartPlug2, you can make changes from anywhere, saving time and avoiding extra trips and the My.Luda.Farm app’s on/off feature ensures you will always know whether the fence has been turned back on after addressing an issue. 

Additionally, the SmartPlug2 has a power outage alert system. If there is a disruption in power, SmartPlug2 will notify you immediately. This feature ensures that you are always aware of power status and can act quickly if necessary, helping to prevent potential issues and maintain the smooth running of your operations. 

Please note that a subscription is required for the SmartPlug2 to function. This subscription ensures access to all features, including remote control, scheduling, and power outage alarms. Without an active subscription, the SmartPlug2 cannot be used.
