FarmCam Flex 5MP

FarmCam Flex 5MP is a unique camera system and the easiest and most innovative way to monitor your farm and animals remotely. All farms have different preconditions and FarmCam Flex is designed to be tailered to your specific needs. Explore our range of scenarios to find the one that best suits your needs.

Scenario 1

Challenge:  You want to surveil a building, barn, or another distant property without an existing internet connection and wish to monitor up to three different areas.

Solution: The Flex system extends your household internet up to 1,500 meters from the router's location. You position one Bridge 300 antenna to the building where the router is and the other Bridge 300 antenna to the building you want to monitor. This configuration supports the installation of three cameras in critical areas, such as the calving box, diesel tank, and feeding table. Each camera is connected to the Flex Hub using one Ethernet cable and can be positioned up to 60 meters with cable extenders from the Flex Hub or 100 meters with one unified cable.

Scenario 2

Challenge: You are interested in surveilling a building, barn, or another distant property without an existing internet connection and wish to monitor more than three different areas.

Solution: The Flex system extends your household internet up to 1,500 meters from the router's location. This is achieved by positioning one Bridge 300 antenna near the router and the other at the building you wish to monitor. Each camera is connected to the Flex Hub through one single Ethernet cable, allowing for strategic placement up to 60 meters with cable extenders from the Flex Hub or 100 meters with one unified cable. Expanding your surveillance setup to include more than three cameras requires an extra Flex Hub unit. Linking two Flex Hubs is straightforward: connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the first Hub and the other end to the second Hub. The placement of Flex Hub number two offers flexibility; just ensure the Ethernet cable spanning between the Hubs has the preferred length to meet your needs. You now have a system that supports seven cameras.

Scenario 3

Challenge: You want to monitor multiple buildings or properties without an existing internet connection.

Solution: To establish a network across multiple buildings, the set-up begins by positioning one Bridge 300 antenna near your router. This antenna pairs with a second one mounted on the first building you wish to monitor. Connect the second antenna to the Flex Hub unit via an Ethernet cable, which enables internet connection to the Hub while the Hub powers the antenna. Cameras connect in the same way: an Ethernet cable runs from each camera to the Flex Hub. These cameras may be placed up to 60 meters with cable extenders from the Flex Hub or 100 meters with one unified cable. Initially, you can connect up to two cameras in the first building. For additional cameras, another Flex Hub is necessary.

To expand coverage to a second building, install another set of Bridge 300 antennas. Connect the first antenna of the new Bridge 300 set to the Flex Hub and place the second antenna on the new building you want to monitor. The process for installing the Flex Hub and cameras in the second building mirrors that of the first. This setup accommodates up to three cameras in the second building and adding more cameras requires an extra Flex Hub.

Scenario 4

Challenge: You want to monitor a location where there is already a wired network with connection to the internet.

Solution: If a network cable is already present in the area you wish to monitor, there's no need for the Bridge 300 antennas. Your setup will require the Flex Hub unit and Flex cameras depending on how many areas you want to monitor. Simply plug the existing network cable into the Flex Hub unit and connect your cameras to the Hub. Each camera is linked to the Flex Hub via an Ethernet cable, allowing for placement as far as 60 meters with cable extenders from the Hub or 100 meters with one unified cable.
